Last weekend, I was surprised with a weekend getaway stay at the Parker in Palm Springs. I have always wanted to stay at the Jonathan Adler designed boutique hotel and needless to say, was on cloud nine the entire weekend. Here are a few highlights:
Much lounging was done on these hammocks
while people watching and sun bathing was done here at the Gene Autry pool
lemon-themed cocktails were sipped here, at the Lemonade Stand
and the Muddled Lemon (mashed lemons, citrus vodka and lemon soda) will forever be one of my favorite spring time drinks
There was drooling over these complimentary high-end beauty products (and praying that they stocked the room with more)
Even the lighting made me swoon - tropical trees when you looked up
and the classic Jonathan Adler horse lamps when you looked down.
Relaxing was done here at the PSYC Spa (Palm Springs Yatch Club) which was decked out in a nautical theme complete with port hole windows and anchor motifs.
And just when I thought the weekend had come to a close, there was still time to shamelessly snap a picture of Mitchell (and his dog Leaf) from Modern Family who we had been secretly stalking all weekend.
